I had the citrus tea, dumplings and sushi orders #5 and #7. By far THE BEST hospitality and sushi I have ever had! Mama Bento is a God sent blessing and added lots of love to the tender loving atmosphere and experience at the restaurant. 100/10 and definitely will be coming back soon

Second time back here. The chicken is flavorful . The dumplings are okay the salad is okay it nothing exciting then a big spoonful of ginger. I love the rice and the California rolls were okay. I feel like $31 was a lot for this box but that my opinion. Also I feel they didn’t want to give me more than one soy sauce but I try to be understanding because it a small business.

The food here is amazing!! The rice, veggies, and fish are super fresh. You will immediately notice the difference because of the attention to detail. The colors are vibrant and textures subtle yet on point. The tea is a medicinal brew that warms the belly and calms the heart. I had the veggie roll combo, eel roll, and miso soup. I arrived hungry and left satisfied!! If you’re looking for sushi specials, you can find it at the Target up the street. Come here for the love, the blessings, and the absolute best sushi in the DMV area!!

Gospel music playing, took over 30 mins to get food. Hot food was cold. Sushi rolls cut uneven. Owner very fast talker/salesperson. Some prices were covered up or difficult to read. The receipt was not itemized

SO OVERPRICED! Huge rip off!!! This all came out to $63. We were asked if we wanted spicy and crunchy, so we said sure. The worker failed to mentioned it was a $6 up charge (for literally a little panko and spicy mayo). And the sushi wasn’t even good quality. Most places have water on tab, but we were charged $3 for one plastic bottle of water. No soup or salad included for this price! I was so surprised with the price that I had to ask for an itemized receipt. The irony of it all, this is not a bento spot! The lady was just trying to sell up everything. Please go else where for sushi!! Such a weird atmosphere. And take it from me, I’m Asian.
