Food was good. I really liked the gyoza and the chicken karaage. The sushi was ok. I preferred the appetizers. Not bad.

I ordered delivery once and specified no knocking as I’m in the middle of a meeting. Immediately after the order was placed I also received a message saying tip in cash. I had already tip on grubhub. I don’t have time for this back and forth. When he arrived he proceeded to bang, yes bang not knocking, for a solid 3-5 minutes. On and off. I believe they deliver their own orders. The food was ok so i decided to dine in this time. The food was in fact just ok. I ordered a chirashi bowl this time. Something about the fish just doesn’t taste the freshest. The tamago egg had a strange yellow hue to it.. service was nearly nonexistent. I think you should always feel confident and comfortable to eat raw fish at a sushi restaurant. I did not feel confident about it eating here.

I’ve only ordered food to-go from Sushi Yashin and I ordered it 4 days in a row, so I hope that sums up my review for the most part. The Spicy Girl roll is tasty and delicious with fresh tuna and jalapeno for a kick. The Apollo roll is tempura shrimp with some sort of mayo on top. The Rainbow roll has different fish on top like tuna, salmon, and yellowtail—if you’re looking for one roll with variety, this is the one I’d recommend. As for the normal rolls, can’t go wrong with a basic California roll. We will definitely be back and hopefully for dine-in so we can try it at its freshest!

Sweet atmosphere, calm, a nice place to visit! Friendly service, VERY fresh and flavorful fish, especially the yellowtail and tuna. Served beautifully- they put wasabi into the rolls/nigiri directly, so you do have to request that it be on the side if that’s not your thing.

Had the pleasure of being served by the owner of the restaurant. The place was packed and he was incredibly speedy but was still able to serve top notch sushi with a sprinkle of very personable conversation.
