Food was great, the noodles were fantastic. The sushi portions were a bit small and pricy. But very delicious and fresh.

Glad I popped back into this place, the fish is as fresh as I remember and the rolls were made well with great flavor. Don't let the quiet inside fool you (busy area), it's worth the non-wait.

I’ve only ever gotten take out from this place since it’s right by me. I like that they have so much variety but balk at the idea of paying $17 for a roll. Most taste the same to me. So I get the $7 rolls. When I come in I usually get rushed to order, which doesn’t feel good. Also sucks to pay extra for using a credit card, as opposed to cash. There’s never anyone in the store when I’ve gone to get food and I’ve made a visit 5-ish times over the past year. It seems like the restaurant is struggling to survive to adding on fees where they can.

My wife and I love sushi and come here nearly weekly. At this point we walk in, sit down and get our "usual." Staff is friendly and the food is good. When it comes to Sushi there is gas station sushi and then there is omakase-only-super-fresh-super-pricy-sushi. Junko isn't the latter and definitely not the first. It's solid, fresh, good tasting sushi with plenty of choice and variation. The price to quality ratio is really good. Sure you can get a similar experience for the same price and a better experience for quite a bit more: it doesn't take away from the consistently good food that they serve.

Junko is my go-to sushi spot in Astoria. They do more carryout and delivery than dine-in since COVID, but they’re still as polite as ever if you want to sit and eat. Tasty sushi standards and always fresh!
