I went here with my family and for the sushi and sashimi is good. But something that is not good is the ramen is because I have a American Asian taste so I don’t really like the taste of the soup is too sweet and too oily, and the pork is so smoky so that’s why I don’t like the ramen.

Mr. Pi never disappoints, have been coming here for over 2 decades, dishes has always been consistent with fresh selection of fishes, creative rolls and plating, top notch service where you are treated like family and they actually remembers who you are.

The sashimi is very fresh, the service attitude is very good, and the ramen is also delicious.

My wife and I are on the #eatjersey challenge to visit & have a meal in all 564 towns of NJ. We chose Mr. Pi's Sushi for Highland Park, our 119th town. We stopped off after a Rutgers football game for dinner and ordered our regular order of "sushi & sashimi platter". Instead of a combo for two, like at most sushi places, you can only order two one-person platters. That being said, the food was on point! Prompt service and nice casual atmosphere inside.

The Sushi itself was fairly standard fare, nothing special. The lunch special was fairly priced. But the service was horrendous. The waitress was rude and rushed us out. Her exact comments were *come back earlier next time * as we were stepping out. She even tried to take our cups and tea pot away (as it was still a little less than half full). We're giving you business right? So you can keep your lights on. Maybe invest in some proper employee training. Overall not a great experience. Please go at your own discretion.
