Great restaurant with unique Japanese flavors. We went there on date night and were not disappointed. Go a little early and hit up their happy hour! The dining area is small and somewhat loud at times, but I would still recommend coming. I highly recommend the pickled plum Onigiri.

We had a positive experience at Kyatchi. The food was good although we liked the skewers and appetizers better than the sashimi and sushi, which were okay but not amazing. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We could not have asked for better service during our time there. There were many tables in the restaurant. Easy to be seated during lunch time.

Pretty good variety of food, decent vegetarian options. Happy hour pricing was good. The agedashi tofu was pretty good, large sized tofu. The hotate yuzu and negihama rolls were good, but didn't really taste as much flavor as I was expecting and were on the smaller side. Really friendly staff.

Firstly the food. We ordered a $30 summer roll as pictured and it was so lack luster. The fish was not good and the fish to rice ratio was sad. The rice is too starchy and gummy. Just not a pleasant mouth feel experience. Second the experience. The vibes are OFF. The staff was oddly managed. They were not friendly with each other either. It was uncomfortable seeing a negative interaction between staff spill over into the customers experience. The kitchen is a mess. There is clutter all around behind the bar with napkins and other disposables on the floor. There is a sushi bar to sit at but it’s not really an option as the takeout crowd occupies this space. I would not recommend this place to friends or acquaintances.

The food was absolutely delicious and it was a very nice place but we will likely not return. I felt the portion size and beers were not worth the price tag for us. I would also want people to know that they require everyone to pay a %19 service charge.
