Fantastic no-frills sushi joint. We got some lunch specials and were very happy with the quality and price. They were very generous with the ginger and Wasabi, which was nice. I was blown away by how much I enjoyed the crunch rolls; I highly recommend them. We came for lunch and there was no wait. Check this place out!

This is a small hole in the wall-ish counter serve sushi restaurant with really good lunch specials. The food quality is decent, I would say about average. The service is straightforward and average as well. I got the Hwe Dup Bap, which is assorted sashimi over rice and vegetables seasoned with a gochujang-like sauce and sesame oil. The price ($12 pre-tax) was really good compared to other places I've seen and had this dish, which are usually around $20. The cuts of fish were pretty small and thin, so I'd definitely only get this dish during the lunch special. I've also tried their sashimi platter, where the fish was good but also very thin. Overall I'd recommend this place if you're craving sushi and want something on the more affordable end, especially during lunch. I would probably not come in any other situation.

Great little neighborhood sushi place. I come here for the lunch specials. Dragon roll is a must. Futo maki if you are hungry. Combo sushi maki special are good too. Very tasty.

My family took me to Dempster Fish Market recently, and I was really amazed by how fresh the sashimi was. I compare it to the freshness of seafood I have eaten when visiting coastal cities in US and Asia. It is a quaint establishment with a small eating area and while I enjoy fine dining, I really treasure these hidden gems. Something about sharing plates in the back of a little BYOB place like this with my family is just so special. The owners brought us some sushi and hand rolls which were just awesome; the freshness of the fish and the sauces that complimented were perfect. I actually was thinking how great it would be to order fish from here for holiday dinner when I noticed the sign stating they are open on all holidays. If you are in the area and love raw fish I recommend you try this place.

Not bad for a quick sushi bite. Fairly priced. Nothing to rock your world though. Parking lot available in the back. Enough seating for about 15-20 people. Sushi served on styrofoam was kind of funny.
