The first time I stopped in and let me say I was thoroughly impressed. A nice variety of food on the menu from rolls, to soups and various desserts and drinks. The sushi was fresh and tasted delicious and the staff was friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this spot for some good sushi, and let me say don't sleep on the sushi pizza, it was delicious!

What not to love about this place. Authentic sushi with good variety of fresh fishes. Carefully packed on delivery order. Will definitely visit the restaurant to try more items on my next Tampa trip. Keep up the good work

Excellent food served here. The fried rice is fantastic. The chicken 🐔 and shrimp 🍤 tempura could not be better. Pork belly buns and the volcano roll are really good. Great ramen. Service is efficient and very friendly. Clean well maintained dining room. Relaxed pleasant atmosphere. A very enjoyable experience at Sushi Ushi Japanese Restaurant. Go out of your way to come here.

Fantastic sushi, fresh and tasty. Beautiful specialty rolls and seafood salad. I also enjoyed their hot sake with the long happy hours.

Fantastic neighborhood place. Small, cozy joint and the sushi was on point. All of it was on point. Ramen was good, tempura was light, crispy and tender. Fried rice was lighter, more buttery and made with the shorter grain rice, probably the same as they make with sushi/sashimi. Pork steam buns were also a hit. Udon noodles were sweet, the beef was tender, the whole experience was a complete surprise and I'll be adding this to our regular rotation. Well done.
